This year STAND UP DAY will be held over 3 days

Friday 17th October
Saturday 18th October
Sunday 19th October



This will provide schools, churches, workplaces, individuals and community groups the opportunity to stand up and speak out in support of the world's poor.

"It remains an obligation in justice and the service of human dignity to attain and even surpass the Millennium Development Goals"

the Benenson Society, named in honour of Catholic Lawyer,
Peter Benenson - founder of Amnesty International.
