In a few weeks you will be making your way to Australia to attend a G20 conference to talk about a number of issues.

We warmly welcome you as a representative of your nation. We understand the significant place and responsibility you have been entrusted with as you make decisions that effect more than the 66% of the world’s population that you represent.

As one of many standing in solidarity with the world’s people, particularly those most affected by poverty, I ask you to explore and work towards the attainment of the UN Millennium goals in your meeting and dealings. In particular, we ask you to work diligently towards forgiving third world debt which is seen as a major block to the achievement of the UN Millennium goals.
