On
Friday 13th October 2006, the school held an assembly with student
speakers and video clips. On Monday 16th October 2006, at 10.45am
the whole school STOOD UP and recited the pledge, led by senior
students in each class.

The MAKE POVERTY HISTORY message

Mount St Joseph's Girls' College,
recently received the Aboriginal Message Stick as part of the Pass
it On relay throughout the Westgate Deanery. The Message stick
is an inititiative of Aboriginal
Catholic Ministry Melbourne in the lead up to the 20th anninversary
celebrations of Pope John Paul's historic 1986 speech in Alice Springs.
