When a group of like-minded parents and staff envisaged that in a community such as Xavier, combining skills and resources could makes a difference, the Xavier Social Justice Network was born.

Xavier College values the Xavier Social Justice Network, which comprises Parents, Old Xaverians, Staff and Friends of Xavier committed to participating with Jesuit organisations and others actively engaged in Social Justice.

Mary Storey, our Social Justice Co-ordinator, works across all the Xavier College's campuses. She is responsible for facilitating and expanding links between the Jesuit Ministries, the Xavier Social Justice Network and the Centre for Faith and Service activities in social justice.

Mary can be contacted Mondays and Tuesdays on 9854 5411 or by email: m.storey@xavier.vic.edu.au

The XSJN supports the ongoing work of the Jesuit ministries and other welfare agencies. We are constantly exploring opportunities to contribute in both a practical and sustainable way and encourage family participation where appropriate. Some of the ministries have informative websites that can be viewed by following the links.
