About Us
The Office for Worship is the executive arm of the Archdiocesan Liturgical Commission and endeavours to provide guidance, service and support, both to those involved in liturgical ministry and the whole community of faith:

  • Parishes and Deaneries,
  • Ministers
  • Communities
  • Schools
  • Liturgical Committees

Publications
The Summit (quarterly) and the Bulletin (monthly).

Formation
For all liturgical and pastoral ministries (such as readers, ministers of Communion, musicians, initiation ministers, art and environment coordinators, etc.)

Consultancy
Our trained staff offer a consultancy service within the office, over the phone, or in local communities with parishioners, pastoral ministers and school groups - by request.

New Location
From 1 January 2004, the Office for Worship will be located at the Thomas Carr Centre, 278 Victoria Pde, East Melbourne 3002. The relocation coincided with the closure of the Office for Worship Bookroom on Christmas Eve 2003. The Bookroom closed due to budgetary pressures, however, the Office will continue to promote resources for Sacramental preparation and celebration in general, the Catechumenate & RCIA and Liturgical Music through its email Bulletin, Website and quarterly journal The Summit.
